Direct Structural Response Monitoring Versus Weight-Based Damage Detection in Bridge Weigh-in-Motion
Bridge weigh-in-motion (BWIM) systems estimate axle and gross vehicle weights from measured bridge responses, typically strains but also displacements and rotations, via algorithms based on influence lines.

A regularised solution to the bridge weigh-in-motion equations [PDF]
The traditional approach to Bridge Weigh-in-Motion (WIM) developed by Moses, gives good accuracy for estimating gross vehicle weights but is less accurate for individual axle weights. In this paper, Tikhonov regularisation is applied to the original Moses' equations to reduce some of the inaccuracies inherent within the algorithm.

Strain Gauge Calibration for High Speed Weight-in-Motion Station
The development of systems for weighing vehicles in motion aims to introduce systems allowing automatic enforcement of regulations. HSWIM (high speed weight-in-motion) systems enable measurement of a mass of vehicles passing through a measurement station

A Wavelet-Based Bridge Weigh-In-Motion System [PDF]
Abstract Bridge Weigh-in-Motion systems can be used to estimate vehicle parameters such as velocity, axle loads, or the distance between axles without affecting the traffic. These parameters and the classification of vehicles are necessary to determine vehicle overload and hence may help to reduce risks for road users and road ...

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ofatumumab in patients with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody–associated disease (MOGAD), and compare it with rituximab. Methods We conducted a single–center, observational study including 22 MOGAD patients treated with ofatumumab and 21 treated with rituximab.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

FastNano Liquid: An Automated Platform for Small‐Angle X‐ray Scattering‐Based Materials Discovery
We present FastNano Liquid, an automated small‐ and wide‐angle X‐ray scattering platform for the combined synthesis and characterization of (nano)materials. The platform is coupled to varied reactor workflows for both in situ studies of reaction kinetics and ex situ screening of synthesis conditions to support machine learning‐guided exploration ...
