One-dimensional adaptive grid generation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1997
In this work, we give an adaptive grid generation method which allows a single point to be added in the regions of large variation. This method uses a quadrature rule as a weight function.

Weighted floating functions and weighted functional affine surface areas

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society
The purpose of this paper is to introduce the new concept of weighted floating functions associated with log concave or s s -concave functions. This leads to new notions of weighted functional affine surface areas. Their relation to more traditional versions of functional affine surface areas as well as to the classical affine surface ...

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

A class of orthogonal polynomials of a new type

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1983
The purpose of this paper is to study a class of polynomials Fnm(x,λ,ν) associated with a class of m differential equations, where λ is fixed, n is a variable parameter, m is fixed positive integer and ν is a non-negative integer

A New Hardy–Hilbert-Type Integral Inequality Involving One Multiple Upper Limit Function and One Derivative Function of Higher Order

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
Using weight functions and parameters, as well as applying real analytic techniques, we derive a new Hardy–Hilbert-type integral inequality with the homogeneous kernel 1(x+y)λ+n involving one multiple upper limit function and one derivative function of ...

Personalized Selumetinib Dosing in Pediatric Neurofibromatosis Type 1: Insights From a Pilot Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.

Determination of weight function to analyze the coefficient of stress intensity and fatigue life of thick-walled tanks based on the function of displacement of cracks [PDF]

open access: yesFanāvarī-i āmūzish, 2006
Determining the stress intensity coefficient is the main parameter in reservoir design, and what in the linear failure mechanism controls the crack behavior is the value of the stress intensity coefficient. There are different ways to estimate this value.

Sirolimus for Extracranial Arteriovenous Malformations: A Scoping Review of the Evidence in Syndromic and Non‐Syndromic Cases

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.
