Approximation on the sphere by weighted Fourier expansions
The main theme of this paper is the approximation on the sphere by weighted sums of spherical harmonics. We give necessary and sufficient conditions on the weights for convergence in both the continuous and the LP cases.

Weighted Thresholding and Nonlinear Approximation
We present a new method for performing nonlinear approximation with redundant dictionaries. The method constructs an $m-$term approximation of the signal by thresholding with respect to a weighted version of its canonical expansion coefficients, thereby ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Approximation of the Summation-Integral-Type q-Szász-Mirakjan Operators
We introduce summation-integral-type q-Szász-Mirakjan operators and study approximation properties of these operators. We establish local approximation theorem. We give weighted approximation theorem.

On weighted polynomial approximation with monotone weights [PDF]
We construct an even weight W W monotone on the right half line such that the logarithmic integral of the largest log \log -convex minorant of W W converges and the polynomials are dense in C ( W ) C(W) .

Rethinking plastic waste: innovations in enzymatic breakdown of oil‐based polyesters and bioplastics
Plastic pollution remains a critical environmental challenge, and current mechanical and chemical recycling methods are insufficient to achieve a fully circular economy. This review highlights recent breakthroughs in the enzymatic depolymerization of both oil‐derived polyesters and bioplastics, including high‐throughput protein engineering, de novo ...

Interplay between RNA‐protein interactions and RNA structures in gene regulation
Methodological advances in mapping transcriptome‐wide RNA‐protein interactions and RNA structures have started to uncover the potential of RNP conformations in gene regulation. Competing RNA–RNA, RNA‐protein and protein–protein interactions shape the compaction and function of RNPs throughout their lifetime and may provide novel therapeutic targets in ...

The Approximation Characteristics of Weighted Band-Limited Function Space
This article primarily investigates the width problem within weighted band-limited function space in a uniform setting. Through an analysis of the properties of s-numbers, we establish a connection between the widths of weighted band-limited function ...

Homologous expression and purification of human HAX‐1 for structural studies
This research protocol provides detailed instructions for cloning, expressing, and purifying large quantities of the intrinsically disordered human HAX‐1 protein, N‐terminally fused to a cleavable superfolder GFP, from mammalian cells. HAX‐1 is predicted to undergo posttranslational modifications and to interact with membranes, various cellular ...
