Targeting the MDM2‐MDM4 interaction interface reveals an otherwise therapeutically active wild‐type p53 in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study investigates an alternative approach to reactivating the oncosuppressor p53 in cancer. A short peptide targeting the association of the two p53 inhibitors, MDM2 and MDM4, induces an otherwise therapeutically active p53 with unique features that promote cell death and potentially reduce toxicity towards proliferating nontumor cells.

Weighted differentiation composition operators from the logarithmic Bloch space to the weighted-type space

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2016
The boundedness of the weighted differentiation composition opera- tor from the logarithmic Bloch space to the weighted-type space is characterized in terms of the sequence (zn)n∈N0.

Exploration of heterogeneity and recurrence signatures in hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study leveraged public datasets and integrative bioinformatic analysis to dissect malignant cell heterogeneity between relapsed and primary HCC, focusing on intercellular communication, differentiation status, metabolic activity, and transcriptomic profiles.

Non-Weakly Supercyclic Weighted Composition Operators

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2010
We give sufficient conditions under which a weighted composition operator on a Hilbert space of analytic functions is not weakly supercyclic. Also, we give some necessary and sufficient conditions for hypercyclicity and supercyclicity of weighted ...

Weighted Composition Operators on BMOA [PDF]

open access: yesComputational Methods and Function Theory, 2008
Let ψ and φ be analytic functions on the unit disk D such that φ(D) ⊂ D. We characterize the boundedness and compactness of the weighted composition operators f ↦ ψ · (f oφ) on BMOA, the space of analytic functions on D that have bounded mean oscillation on ∂D, and its subspace VMOA.

Escape from TGF‐β‐induced senescence promotes aggressive hallmarks in epithelial hepatocellular carcinoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Chronic TGF‐β exposure drives epithelial HCC cells from a senescent state to a TGF‐β resistant mesenchymal phenotype. This transition is characterized by the loss of Smad3‐mediated signaling, escape from senescence, enhanced invasiveness and metastatic potential, and upregulation of key resistance modulators such as MARK1 and GRM8, ultimately promoting

Binormal and complex symmetric weighted composition operators on the Fock Space over $\mathbb{C}$

open access: yesМатематичні Студії, 2023
In this paper, we give simple characterization of binormal weighted composition operators $C_{\psi, \phi}$ on the Fock space over $\mathbb{C}$ where weight function is of the form $\psi(\zeta) = e^{\langle \zeta, c \rangle}$ for some $c \in \mathbb{C ...
