Rigidity of weighted composition operators on H^p
We show that every non-compact weighted composition operator $f \mapsto u\cdot (f\circ )$ acting on a Hardy space $H^p$ for $1 \leq p < \infty$ fixes an isomorphic copy of the sequence space $\ell^p$ and therefore fails to be strictly singular. We also characterize those weighted composition operators on $H^p$ which fix a copy of the Hilbert space $

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

A weighted composition operator on the space of scalar-valued smooth functions on an open subset of a d-dimensional Euclidean space is supercyclic if and only if it is weakly mixing, and it is strongly supercyclic if and only if it is mixing.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.
