TOPSIS-method based on generalized dice similarity measures with hamy mean operators and its application to decision-making process

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2023
Hamy mean operator is the modified shape of the averaging and geometric aggregation operators, used for evaluation of the collection of finite numbers of attributes into a singleton set.

On weighted strong type inequalities for the generalized weighted mean operator [PDF]

open access: yesArchiv der Mathematik, 2013
The generalized weighted mean operator $\mathbf{M}^{g}_{w}$ is given by $$[\mathbf{M}^{g}_{w}f](x)= g^{-1}\left(\frac{1}{W(x)}\int_{0}^{x}w(t)g(f(t))\,\mathrm{d}t\right),$$ with $$W(x)=\int_{0}^{x} w(s)\,\mathrm{d}s, \quad \textrm{for} x \in (0, +\infty),$$ where $w$ is a positive measurable function on $(0,+\infty)$ and $g$ is a real continuous ...

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Improvements of Logarithmic and Identric Mean Inequalities for Scalars and Operators

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2023
In this article, we provide refined inequalities for a convex Riemann’s integrable function using refinements of the classical Hermite-Hadamard inequality.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Models for Multiple Attribute Decision Making With Fuzzy Number Intuitionistic Fuzzy Hamy Mean Operators and Their Application

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this paper, we expand the Hamy mean (HM) operator and weighted Hamy mean (WHM) with fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (FNIFNs) to propose fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy Hamy mean (FNIFHM) operator and fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy ...

Generalized Hausdorff and Weighted Mean Matrices as Operators on lp

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1993
There are two main results. The first theorem gives sufficient conditions for a generalized Hausdorff matrix \(H(\lambda,\alpha)\) to be in \(B(\ell_ p)\), where \(B(\ell_ p)\) denotes the Banach algebra of all bounded linear operators on \(\ell_ p\), \(1\leq ...

Some inequalities for operator weighted geometric mean [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Transilvania University of Brasov. Series III: Mathematics and Computer Science, 2020
In this paper, by the use of some recent Young's type scalar inequalities we obtain some inequalities for the weighted geometric mean of two positive operators on a complex Hilbert space.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...
