The Dirichlet Problem in Weight Spaces [PDF]
The paper concerns the solvability of the Dirichlet problem for quasilinear second order elliptic equations of non-divergence form with unbounded singularities in a domain \(\Omega\subset \mathbb R^n\). The main result is the following.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

A perceptron with a skeletal weight-space
A perceptron whose space of interactions can interpolate between spherically constrained and binary-valued synapses is introduced and investigated as an associative neural-network memory. For maximally stable storage, and where the weight-space remains connected, the critical storage capacity, alpha c, is found to be reduced by a factor determined ...

Characterization of Weighted Besov Spaces [PDF]
AbstractWe find conditions on the weight w in order to characterize functions in weighted Besov spaces Bp.q/w.φ in terms of differences Δxf.

Conserved binding mode but diverse interfaces of MreC‐PBP2 interactions
The crystal structure of abMreC reveals a conserved two β‐barrel architecture and provides structural insights into its role within the bacterial elongasome. The abMreC–abPBP2 complex model identifies the molecular basis of MreC‐mediated PBP2 recognition, contributing to the regulation of peptidoglycan synthesis.

Maximal regularity for non-autonomous Cauchy problems in weighted spaces
We consider the regularity for the non-autonomous Cauchy problem $$ u'(t) + A(t) u(t) = f(t)\quad (t \in [0, \tau]), \quad u(0) = u_0. $$ The time dependent operator A(t) is associated with (time dependent) sesquilinear forms on a Hilbert space ...

On approximation in Weighted Orlicz spaces
Abstract An inverse theorem of the trigonometric approximation theory in Weighted Orlicz spaces is proved and the constructive characterization of the generalized Lipschitz classes defined in these spaces is obtained.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Approximation by Jakimovski–Leviatan-beta operators in weighted space
The main purpose of this article is to introduce a more generalized version of Jakimovski–Leviatan-beta operators through the Appell polynomials. We present some uniform convergence results of these operators via Korovkin’s theorem and obtain the rate of
