Crystal Structure and Eu2+ Luminescence of the Lithium Alkaline‐Earth Silicate Fluoride LiBa2SiO4F

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, EarlyView.
With Li2BaSiO4F, a new lithium alkaline‐earth silicate fluoride could be synthesized via high‐temperature solid‐state reaction. Crystal structure and luminescence properties upon Eu2+ activation were investigated. A high‐temperature solid‐state synthesis in weld‐shut tantalum ampoules yielded a new alkaline‐earth silicate fluoride, LiBa2SiO4F.

Axial and Biaxial Fatigue Behavior of 6061‐T651 Cold Metal Transfer Welded Joints

open access: yesFatigue &Fracture of Engineering Materials &Structures, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Lightweight aluminum structures in transportation systems are increasingly exposed to complex service loading, yet the fatigue performance of welded joints is still predominantly assessed using uniaxial data. In this work, the axial and biaxial fatigue behavior of 6061‐T651 aluminum alloy joints produced by cold metal transfer (CMT) welding is

In operando imaging of the space‐charge region in a 4H‐SiC MOSCAP using STEM‐EBIC

open access: yesJournal of Microscopy, EarlyView.
Abstract In situ biasing electron microscopy is the necessary step forward in being able to characterise nanoscale devices and device interfaces. STEM‐EBIC is a new approach that can help fill the missing gaps in creating reproducible methodologies for in situ biasing TEM.
