Time Dependent Well Resistance Factor of PVD
Marine Georesources and Geotechnology, 2011As the conventional equations of radial consolidation with PVD assume a constant well resistance with time, an appropriate in-situ consolidation curve cannot be predicted. In this study, small cylinder cell tests are performed to evaluate the discharge capacity of PVD.

Geosteering Horizontal Wells using Resistivity Anisotropy Obtained in an Offset Vertical Well
Proceedings of SPE Latin American and Caribbean Petroleum Engineering Conference, 2003Abstract Traditional resistivity logging instruments, when logged in vertical wells through horizontal beds, evaluate the horizontal resistivity (Rh) of the formation. The response of the laterolog tool in the same environment, however, is also sensitive to the vertical resistivity component (Rv).

Proxy Capacitance-Resistance Modeling for Well Production Forecasts in Case of Well Treatments
SPE Journal, 2022Summary We disclose a new-age field-scale production forecast model that handles complex treatment of wellbores during their life cycle. Predictive production models have been an object of increased interest and research for a long time due to the need for a fast tool for forecasting production rates or choosing an optimal field ...

Resistance resonance in coupled potential wells
Physical Review Letters, 1990A new resistance resonance effect based on the quantum-mechanical delocalization of electrons in a symmetric-double-well potential is presented. We show that changing the symmetry of the potential profile gives rise to a resistance peak if the transport properties of the two wells are different.
