A Review of Black Phosphorus‐Based Materials: From Preparation Strategies to Characterization Techniques

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
The structure, properties, preparation methods, and characterization techniques of BP. As a typical 2D layered material, black phosphorus (BP) demonstrates exceptional promise in various fields, particularly in energy storage for alkali metal‐ion batteries. However, its distinctive structure and properties, together with the compositional complexity of

Contaminant‐to‐Protection: In Situ Built Tri‐Component Barrier Enables Ultralong‐Cycling NASICON‐Based Sodium Metal Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Benefiting from the synergistic effect between the tri‐components, the hybrid interlayer can not only improve the wettability of NZSP to Na and promote the rapid migration of Na+ ions (Na3Sb with sodiophilic) but also effectively prevent the electron from intruding into the electrolyte at the interface and inhibit the growth of dendrites (NaCl and Na2O

RuO2‐Based High‐Entropy Oxide and Its Asymmetric Catalysis on Polysulfide Conversion in Lithium–Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
RuO2‐based high‐entropy metal oxide shows an asymmetric catalysis on polysulfide conversion with an inferior kinetics enhancement of polysulfide generation, but a superior promotion of Li2S deposition, which greatly favors the inhibition of shuttle effect and the improvement of battery performance. High‐entropy oxides with five or more metal components
