Degradable Magnetic Composites from Recycled NdFeB Magnets for Soft Actuation and Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a degradable soft magnetic composite made from recycled NdFeB particles embedded in a gelatin‐based organogel. The material is processed into magnetic sensors and soft robotic components, which can later be dissolved in a green solvent to recover NdFeB magnetic particles.

Passivation‐Induced Species Dynamics and Microstructural Evolution in Solid‐State Lithium–Sulfur Cathodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The formation of insulating Li2S during discharge in solid‐state lithium–sulfur batteries passivate reaction sites and limits sulfur utilization. In this work, a microstructure‐resolved modeling framework coupling transport and reaction kinetics is developed to predict charge–discharge behavior and reveal particle‐scale species evolution and incomplete

The Particle Size Distribution of Marble on Wet Ball Milling

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, 1962
Abstract An investigation has been made of a wet ball milling procedure which depends on the apparent viscosity of the charge increasing during the operation until the balls are held by the charge, and circulate with the mill. By varying the solid: liquid ratio of the charges the mean particle size of the product was changed, and shown ...
