Hydrogen and oxygen generated from water splitting process by photoelectrocatalysis of single atom modified TiO2 based photoelectrocatalysts. The accelerating demand for green hydrogen has intensified the development of efficient and durable photoelectrocatalysts (PECs) for sustainable water splitting.

Investigation of wet steam flow for steam turbine repowering
The application of longer-stage blades is one of the very effective methods for steam turbine repowering, since it increases annulus area at turbine outlet, decreases exhaust loss in most cases, which improves the turbine efficiency. However, at the same time the tip speed of rotating blades becomes higher, increasing the possibility of erosion damage ...

The Streaming Potential Generated by Flow of Wet Steam in Capillary Tubes
For a constant pressure differential, the flow of wet steam generated electric potentials which increased with time and did not reach equilibrium values. These potentials were found to increase to values greater than 100 volts.

3D Knitted Interfacial Solar Steam Generator for High‐Efficiency and Long‐Term Seawater Desalination
The hydrophobic bottom provides buoyancy to keep the evaporator floating, and directional vertical spacer yarn supplies sufficient water. The knitted photothermal layer efficiently converts solar energy via multiple light reflections. The Marangoni effect induced by edge yarn accelerates the backflow of salt ions, preventing salt accumulation in the ...

INFLUENCE OF STEAM PRESSURE ON CHEMICAL CHANGES OF HEAT-TREATED MONGOLIAN PINE WOOD
Properties of heat-treated wood have been studied extensively in recent years. However, study on wood that has been treated in pressurized steam is limited, as most wood heat treatments are carried out in atmospheric steam. The main purpose of this study

Self‐Supported SiC@Graphene Porous Array Electrodes for Ultrastable Supercapacitors
Self‐supported SiC–graphene porous array electrodes are fabricated through a novel steam‐assisted etching and in situ pyrolysis strategy. They deliver a high energy density of 4.9 μWh cm−2 at 150°C with 89.55% capacitance retention over 10,000 cycles, presenting a new approach for high‐temperature supercapacitors.
