National Relics: Secular Sacrality, Museums, and Heritage‐Making in Nineteenth‐Century Chile
ABSTRACT This article examines how objects and bodily remains are transformed and ritualized into national relics through collecting and exhibiting practices in museums. Focusing on nineteenth‐century Chile, it draws on archival sources, material culture theory, and the anthropology of religion to argue that objects associated with Chile's nation‐state

Minor epic: Notes toward a different “Anthropoetry”
Abstract Anthropologists have often turned to poetry as a means of accessing emotional registers of which conventional academic prose is unable to avail. In doing so, they have tacitly conflated poetry with lyric poetry, today probably the most widely practiced poetic genre, associated in particular with the expression of inner feelings and subjectival

POSSIBILITY FOR FREQUENCY STABILIZATION OF MILLIMETER WAVELENGTH SOLID-STATE SOURCE BY A SCREENED DIELECTRIC RESONATOR [PDF]
Purpose: Showing the possibility in principle of the use of a screened dielectric resonator excited by the planar waveguide to stabilize the frequency of solid-state sources in the millimeter wavelength range.

Harnessing Interfacial Field Localization in Hexagonal GaP Mie Resonators
Сharacterization of Mie modes in self‐assembled GaP nanowires grown by MBE in vertical and horizontal configurations. The hexagonal cross‐section suppresses higher‐order modes while preserving dominant low‐order modes with spectral shifts. Simulations and dark‐field spectroscopy confirm the diameter‐dependent tunability.

Two‐Photon 3D Printing of Functional Microstructures Inside Living Cells
This study demonstrates 3D printing inside living cells by using two‐photon photo‐lithography. A bio‐compatible photoresist is injected into cells and selectively polymerized with a femtosecond laser, creating custom‐shaped intracellular structures with submicron resolution.

Observation of whispering gallery modes in the mid-infrared with a quantum cascade laser: possible applications to nanoliter chemical sensing [PDF]
Excitation of the whispering gallery modes (WGM) of a CaF_2 ball resonator is demonstrated at 4.5 micron with a pulsed Quantum Cascade laser. A prism coupling scheme for mid-infrared is described.

Thermal noise of whispering gallery resonators
By direct application of the fluctuation-dissipation theorem, we numerically calculate the fundamental dimensional fluctuations of crystalline CaF2 whispering gallery resonators in the case of structural damping, and the limit that this noise imposes on ...

Metal halide perovskite field‐effect transistors (PeFETs) offer great promise for flexible, low‐cost, and high‐performance due to their excellent charge carrier properties. However, challenges like ion migration, hysteresis, and instability limit their performance.
