White light emission from ultraviolet laser diode

Laser Physics, 2009
A phosphor-conversion white light using an InGaN laser diode that emits 405 nm near-ultraviolet (n-UV) light and phosphors that emit in the red/green/blue region when excited by the n-UV light was fabricated. The relationship of the luminous flux and the luminous efficacy of the white light with injection current were discussed. Based on the evaluation

Tetraphenylethylene-Decorated Metal-Organic Frameworks as Energy-Transfer Platform for the Detection of Nitro-Antibiotics and White-Light Emission.

Inorganic Chemistry, 2019
The highly porous luminescent metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) can act as fluorescent probes for the detection of nitro compounds and can also serve as containers and energy transfer platforms to construct the host-guest systems.

Polyfluorene based blends for white light emission

Organic Electronics, 2011
Abstract Single layer white light emitting diodes were constructed with blends containing as blue emitter and matrix host poly(9,9-dihexyl-2,7-fluorene) (LaPPS10), and the green and red emitters poly[(9,9-dihexyl-9H-fluorene-2,7-diyl)-1,2-ethenediyl-1,4-phenylene-1,2-ethenediyl] (LaPPS16) and poly[2-methoxy-5-(2-ethylhexoxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene ...

Metal oxide nanostructures and white light emission

SPIE Proceedings, 2012
We report on white light emission from zinc oxide nanostructures chemically grown on paper substrates. The effect of the growth solution pH on the morphology is discussed. The light emission form light emitting diodes based on ZnO nanorods/organic polymer hybrids on paper substrate is presented. Further copper oxide was grown on the walls of zinc oxide

Near white light emission from ZnO nanostructures

MRS Proceedings, 2011
ABSTRACTWe report white light emission from ZnO nanostructures in powder form, prepared by microwave irradiation-assisted chemical synthesis, in the presence of a structure directing agent. Determination of their crystallinity, actual shape, and orientation was made using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron ...

Near white light emission of silicon nanocrystals

SPIE Proceedings, 2003
Silicon nanoparticles in the range from 2 nm to 5 nm was prepared from Zintl salt, soldium silicide (NaSi) by sonochemical method. This synthesis permits the reaction completed as fast as in a few hours and the easy alkyl-modification of nanocrystals surface at room temperature and ambient pressure.

Tunable Single‐Molecule White‐Light Emission in Stimuli‐Responsive Hydrogel

Advanced Optical Materials, 2020
White‐light emitting materials based on single‐molecules are of great interest owing to the simple fabrication process and good stability of such materials. However, among limited reports on single‐molecule white light‐emitting materials, the majority of

White-light-emission Afterglow Phosphor CaZnGe2O6:Dy3+

Chemistry Letters, 2007
Abstract A novel phosphor, CaZnGe2O6:Dy3+, which emits white long-lasting phosphorescence (LLP) upon UV excitation, is prepared by a conventional high-temperature solid-state method, and its luminescent properties are systematically reported in this letter.

Perovskite Crystals for Tunable White Light Emission

Chemistry of Materials, 2015
A significant fraction of global electricity demand is for lighting. Enabled by the realization and development of efficient GaN blue light-emitting diodes (LEDs), phosphor-based solid-state white LEDs provide a much higher efficiency alternative to incandescent and fluorescent lighting, which are being broadly implemented. However, a key challenge for
