The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

Fish red blood cells express immune genes and responses
The erythrocytes or red blood cells (RBCs) and leucocytes or white blood cells (WBCs) are the most abundant cell types in the circulatory system of vertebrates. The RBCs are responsible for gas exchange while WBCs are solely involved with immunity.

Analysis of Chemotaxis in White Blood Cells
We wish to report the development of an assay system for the study of white blood cells in vitro. With this system we have demonstrated that a yet unidentified substance found in red blood cell membranes and cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) cause the chemotactic response in white blood cells.

MiR‐513a promotes human erythroid differentiation by modulating c‐Jun
During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.

Blood cell image segmentation and classification: a systematic review [PDF]
Background Blood diseases such as leukemia, anemia, lymphoma, and thalassemia are hematological disorders that relate to abnormalities in the morphology and concentration of blood elements, specifically white blood cells (WBC) and red blood cells (RBC ...
