Interaction‐Driven Assembly Pathways in Heterogeneous Active Microrobotic Systems
Peanut‐ and cube‐shaped light‐powered microrobots exhibit distinct magnetic and photocatalytic responses that determine their heterogeneous self‐assembly. In the dark, magnetic dipole interactions drive colloidal copolymerization with cubes acting as nucleation centers, whereas under light irradiation, phoretic interactions compete with magnetic ...

Solution‐Processed Mn‐Doped 2d Perovskite Wavelength Shifters for Noble‐Liquid Photon Detection
Solution‐processed Mn2+‐doped PEA2PbBr4 two‐dimensional perovskite films are demonstrated as large‐area wavelength shifters for noble‐liquid photon detectors. Mn2+ incorporation introduces a broad emission band at ∼620 nm with a large Stokes shift, suppressing self‐absorption and matching SiPM sensitivity.

Evaluation and optimization for liquid-based preparation cytology in whole slide imaging
Background: Cytology poses different obstacles in whole slide imaging compared to surgical pathology slides. A single focal plane suffices for most of the latter, but cytology slides are thicker, potentially requiring multiple focal planes for adequate ...

Jigsaw Regularization in Whole-Slide Image Classification
Computational pathology involves the digitization of stained tissues into whole-slide images (WSIs) that contain billions of pixels arranged as contiguous patches. Statistical analysis of WSIs largely focuses on classification via multiple instance learning (MIL), in which slide-level labels are inferred from unlabeled patches.

Domain Engineering and Anisotropic Domain‐Wall Photovoltaic Effects in Ferroelectric SnS
The bulk photovoltaic effect at domain walls in the in‐plane ferroelectric 2D semiconductor SnS is investigated using periodic domain structures. Unlike conventional oxide ferroelectrics, domain walls of SnS do not contribute to photocurrent generation perpendicular to the domain walls.

A 3D Human Neuron‐on‐Chip Platform to Monitor Neuronal Injury Responses
This study presents a novel 3D Neuron‐on‐Chip model that can maintain human PSC‐derived excitatory prefrontal cortex neurons in 3D hydrogels and can be used to monitor neuronal injury responses over time. Results show injury‐induced acute neuronal excitotoxicity, declining neuronal connectivity, and the activation of a neurodegenerative, SASP‐like ...

This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...
