Wide field x-ray telescope mission
SPIE Proceedings, 2008The Wide Field X-Ray Telescope (WFXT) will carry out an unprecedented X-ray survey of galaxy clusters and groups, AGNs and QSOs, and galaxies. WFXT is a medium-class strategic mission that will address key questions in both Cosmic Origins and Physics of the Cosmos.

The SkyMapper wide field telescope
SPIE Proceedings, 2006The SkyMapper wide field telescope is currently in production by EOS and is scheduled for first light in Q1 2007. This telescope will produce high quality images over a 3.4 degree diameter flat field for wavebands from 310 nm to 1000 nm. This paper discusses the optical and opto-mechanical design and tolerancing of the SkyMapper Telescope.

Wide-field Fizeau imaging telescope: experimental results
Applied Optics, 2006A nine-aperture, wide-field Fizeau imaging telescope has been built at the Lockheed-Martin Advanced Technology Center. The telescope consists of nine, 125 mm diameter collector telescopes coherently phased and combined to form a diffraction-limited image with a resolution that is consistent with the 610 mm diameter of the telescope. The phased field of

Single-acquisition wide-field superresolution for telescopes
Applied Optics, 2016A simple optical setup is introduced here that is capable of improving the diffraction-limited angular resolution of a telescope at minimal cost to image quality. The system consists of, at minimum, an axicon and a convex lens located in the optical path of the telescope, which can increase the angular resolution by up to 38%.
