This work demonstrates the ability of plasmons to switch on the fluorescence of molecular monolayers through a hole injection process, in combination with an electrochemical reduction triggered at the tip and transferred to the monolayer by a redox mediator.

Migration Ecology and Protection of Stopover Sites of the Whimbrels Along China's Coastal
Our analysis reveals two critical findings: (1) 73.1% of identified stopover sites occur within existing protected areas, demonstrating significant conservation coverage; yet (2) substantial protection gaps persist, particularly in inland regions of Inner Mongolia and Northeast China where 42.9% of key sites lack formal protection.
