Impact of Oral Sebetralstat on Anxiety Associated With Hereditary Angioedema Attacks
Clinical &Experimental Allergy, EarlyView. In the phase 3 KONFIDENT trial of oral sebetralstat for on‐demand treatment of hereditary angioedema attacks, many attacks induced moderate‐to‐extreme anxiety. Sebetralstat reduced anxiety versus placebo; time to reductions agreed with trial endpoints, such as time to beginning of symptom relief.Timothy Craig, Emel Aygören‐Pürsün, Jonathan A. Conservation Biology, EarlyView.Abstract
Addressing urgent conservation issues, such as the drastic declines of North American migratory birds, requires creative, evidence‐based, efficient, and collaborative approaches. The abundance of over 50% of monitored North American shorebird populations has declined by over 50% since 1980. To address these declines, we developed a partnership Autumn‐Lynn Harrison, Candace Stenzel, Alexandra Anderson, Jessica Howell, Richard B. Lanctot, Marley Aikens, Joaquín Aldabe, Liam A. Conservation Biology, EarlyView.Abstract
Elasmobranch nurseries often differ in environmental conditions, demographics, and use patterns. These differences affect the distribution of genetic variation among nurseries. However, conservation and management strategies often fail to account for such differences because they are difficult to characterize.Dominic G. Swift, Amanda M. Barker, William B. Conservation Biology, EarlyView.Abstract
Effective conservation practice requires decisions based on reliable and relevant evidence, but significant gaps in the evidence base exist. Incorporating well‐designed tests of the effectiveness of interventions for biodiversity in conservation projects is one of the best ways to scale up the rate of evidence generation.Rebecca K.
