An Integrated System for Geobacillus Protoplast Formation, Transfection, Recombinant Genomes Rebooting, Efficient Propagation, and Genomic DNA Isolation of the Thermophilic Bacteriophage TP‐84

The study presents an optimized, reproducible protoplast transfection method for Geobacillus stearothermophilus. The method enables efficient uptake of native and fully synthetic TP‐84 bacteriophage genomes, their “rebooting” in vivo and production of infectious phage particles.
