Deformation analysis of transformer winding by structure parameter

Proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Properties and Applications of Dielectric Materials (Cat. No.03CH37417), 2004
Frequency Response Analysis can be used to detect the transformer winding deformation. Its reliability and standard are studied. A simulation model of transformer winding is developed. The transformer winding is equivalent to a network circuit, and electrical components in the circuit can describe distributed elements of the winding.

Deformations of pressure vessel domes in asymmetric winding

Mechanics of Composite Materials, 2006
The deformation of pressure vessel domes in asymmetric winding with the use of two families of yarns is accompanied by shear deformations and torsion. For the case of large deformations, a system of equations for describing the stress-strain state of an asymmetrically reinforced netlike shell of revolution loaded with an internal pressure is obtained ...

Deformation of Trees in Hawaii and its Relation to Wind

The Journal of Ecology, 1979
(1) The reliability of the use of wind-deformed trees as indicators of wind direction and magnitude was examined at 590 sites in Hawaii, where the NE tradewind is persistent throughout the year. (2) The consistency in magnitude and direction of tree-deformation shown by individual trees of the same and of different species at a given site was studied. (
