Estimation of Fourier Transform Using Alias-free Hybrid-Stratified Sampling [PDF]
This paper proposes a novel method of estimating the Fourier Transform (FT) of deterministic, continuous-time signals, from a finite number \u1d441 of their samples taken from a fixed-length observation window.

Research on harmonic detection based on wavelet threshold and FFT algorithm
The fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm with window interpolation is the most commonly used and most effective method in harmonic analysis. However, the fast Fourier transform has a great dependence on the quality of the signal, and the existence of ...

Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.

Fovea Window for Wavelet-Based Compression [PDF]
Wavelet foveated compression can be used in real-time video processing frameworks for reducing the communication overhead while keeping high visual quality. Such algorithm leads into high rate compression results due to the fact that the information loss

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

ABSTRACT Objective Onasemnogene abeparvovec (OA) is an AAV9‐based gene therapy for spinal muscular atrophy type I (SMA I). Real‐world outcomes show increased response variability compared to clinical trials, and follow‐up data beyond 12–18 months are limited.

An optimal sidelobeless window [PDF]
A window is derived whose Fourier transform magnitude is unimodal and whose processing gain against white noise is maximized. As such, the spectral window does not exhibit sidelobes and is as narrow in frequency as possible.

CSF Monoamine Metabolites and Cognitive Trajectory in Early Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Background Imaging and postmortem studies indicate that abnormalities in monoaminergic neurotransmission contribute to cognitive impairment in Parkinson's disease (PD). However, it remains uncertain if cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) monoamine metabolites can serve as biomarkers of cognitive decline in early PD.
