Real clifford windowed Fourier transform [PDF]

open access: yesActa Mathematica Sinica, English Series, 2011
A higher dimensional windowed Fourier transform in the framework of Clifford analysis is constructed. It is called the Clifford windowed Fourier transform (abbreviated CWFT). This generalization also yields Clifford Gabor filters, which are well localized both in the spatial and Clifford Fourier domain.

Windowed Fourier transform of two-dimensional quaternionic signals

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2010
The authors generalize the classical windowed Fourier transform to quaternion-valued 2-dimensional signals. Using the spectral representation of the quaternionic Fourier transform, they derive some properties such as reconstruction formula, reproducing kernel, isometry, orthogonality relation, and uncertainty principle.

A Windowed Digraph Fourier Transform

ICASSP 2019 - 2019 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2019
We propose a methodology to carry out vertex-frequency analyses of graph signals, with the goal of unveiling the signal’s frequency occupancy over a localized region in the network. To this end, we first introduce localized graph signals in the vertex domain, by defining windows that are localized around each node by construction. Recent directed graph

A windowed graph Fourier transform

2012 IEEE Statistical Signal Processing Workshop (SSP), 2012
The prevalence of signals on weighted graphs is increasing; however, because of the irregular structure of weighted graphs, classical signal processing techniques cannot be directly applied to signals on graphs. In this paper, we define generalized translation and modulation operators for signals on graphs, and use these operators to adapt the ...

Adaptive windowed Fourier transform

Signal Processing, 2003
Adaptive Fourier transform with a data-driven window function is proposed in the paper. The algorithm, based on the confidence intervals intersection, is used for determination of the window length. It produces an adaptive, close to optimal, bias-to-variance trade-off. A generalization for the case of time-varying signals is given.

Shape Analysis with Anisotropic Windowed Fourier Transform

2016 Fourth International Conference on 3D Vision (3DV), 2016
We propose Anisotropic Windowed Fourier Transform (AWFT), a framework for localized space-frequency analysis of deformable 3D shapes. With AWFT, we are able to extract meaningful intrinsic localized orientation-sensitive structures on surfaces, and use them in applications such as shape segmentation, salient point detection, feature point description ...

Windowed Fourier Transform

2015
In this chapter we will introduce a modification in the definition of the Fourier transform in order to obtain a transform with better localization properties in the time-frequency domain. This transform will give us better results for the purposes of function representation.

A relativistic windowed Fourier transform

Proceedings of the IEEE SoutheastCon 2000. 'Preparing for The New Millennium' (Cat. No.00CH37105), 2002
Drawing upon some earlier work on coherent states of the Poincare' group in l-space and l-time dimensions, we use these states to define a relativistic windowed Fourier transform, as relativistic extension of the usual windowed Fourier transform. We discretize the resulting transform and obtain conditions under which the discretized transform can be ...
