Wire + arc additive manufacturing for high-speed flight.
The use of Wire + Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) to manufacture high- speed projectiles, such as missiles, is currently an industry challenge due to the nature of high-speed flight and the extreme environment that components are exposed to. Alloys that are suitable for high-speed flight are creep resistant superalloys, this is due to the aggressive ...

ABSTRACT Viscous dampers (VDs) are widely used to mitigate the excessive responses of long‐span bridges. However, VDs face some intricate challenges in engineering practices, including high damping coefficient requirement, potential base shear amplification and tremendous damping force under high velocity. To address these issues, this study develops a

Exploring the Impedance Spectroscopy in Hole‐Conductor‐Free Mesoscopic Perovskite Solar Cells
This study employs impedance spectroscopy (IS) to investigate the carrier dynamics of printable perovskite solar cells (p‐MPSCs). The exceptional stability of p‐MPSCs enables reliable IS measurements under various conditions. We develop an equivalent circuit model to analyze the IS data, linking each circuit element to specific dynamic processes.

Grid Optimization of Tunnel Oxide Passivated Back Contact Silicon Solar Cells
The grid pattern design of tunnel oxide passivated back contact silicon solar cells were optimized via device simulation and the estimated cell efficiency was correlated to the required Ag paste consumption. The absolute efficiency gain of zero‐busbar design over pad‐based contact design is more than 0.1%, with increasing advantage when the Ag paste ...
