Stretchable p/n‐pair Ag@Ag2Se TE fibers are developed for next‐generation fiber‐based electronics. The TE fibers maintain excellent electrical conductivity and a high Seebeck coefficient under strain. Integrated into textiles, they enable simultaneous temperature and strain sensing, as well as energy harvesting, offering great potential for ...

Non-Asymptotic Output Statistics of Random Binning and Its Applications
In this paper we develop a finite blocklength version of the Output Statistics of Random Binning (OSRB) framework. The framework is shown to be optimal in the point-to-point case.

Polar coding for the general wiretap channel [PDF]
Information-theoretic work for wiretap channels is mostly based on random coding schemes. Designing practical coding schemes to achieve information-theoretic security is an important problem. By applying the two recently developed techniques for polar codes, we propose a polar coding scheme to achieve the secrecy capacity of the general wiretap channel.

Dual‐Ligand Metal‐Organic Frameworks via In Situ Amidoxime Engineering for Selective Ion Separation
Inspired by microbial ion‐trapping mechanisms, a mild and universal strategy is developed to construct highly porous amidoxime‐functionalized MOFs. DFT calculations and molecular force measurements reveal that the dual‐ligand amidoxime configuration significantly strengthens Ga(III) affinity.

Construction of Codes for Wiretap Channel and Secret Key Agreement from Correlated Source Outputs by Using Sparse Matrices [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to prove coding theorems for the wiretap channel coding problem and secret key agreement problem based on the the notion of a hash property for an ensemble of functions.

Location-based beamforming for Rician wiretap channels [PDF]
We propose a location-based beamforming scheme for wiretap channels, where a source communicates with a legitimate receiver in the presence of an eavesdropper. We assume that the source and the eavesdropper are equipped with multiple antennas, while the legitimate receiver is equipped with a single antenna.

A pixelation‐free, monolithic iontronic pressure sensor enables simultaneous pressure and position sensing over large areas. AC‐driven ion release generates spatially varying impedance pathways depending on the pressure. Machine learning algorithms effectively decouple overlapping pressure–position signals from the multichannel outputs, achieving high ...

By mimicking the ion‐accelerating effect of ion channel receptors in neuron membranes, a biomaterials‐based ionic hydrogel (BIH) is developed, which offers a high ionic conductivity of 7.04 S m−1, outperforming conventional chitosan, cellulose, agarose, starch, and gelatin based ionic hydrogels.
