Spectrally Compatible Deceptive Jamming Waveform Design for Synthetic Aperture Radar Countermeasures
This paper focuses on the design of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) deceptive jamming waveforms with spectrum‐compatible capability. By using the synthesised jamming waveform, successful deception against the hostile SAR system is demonstrated by generating false targets with high fidelity in both range and azimuth.

Fat equator effect and minimality in immersions and submersions of the sphere
Abstract Inspired by the equatorial concentration of measure phenomenon in the sphere, a result which is deduced from the general (and intrinsic), concentration of measure in Sn(1)$\mathbb {S}^n(1)$, we describe in this paper an equatorial concentration of measure satisfied by the closed (compact without boundary), isometric and minimal immersions x:Σm→

On a paper of Mawhin on second order differential equations [PDF]
The first part of the paper deals with classification of solutions to the equations ti" + ag(t, u( 0. The second part is devoted to systems of the form u"(t) = A{t)uW(t)-g(t,u(h(t)), «'(/>(*)))> t6[0,l] u(0(0) = ti( , )(l) = 0, .1 = 0 ...

Crossing estimates for the Ising model on general s‐embeddings
Abstract We prove Russo–Seymour–Welsh‐type crossing estimates for the FK–Ising model on general s‐embeddings whose origami map has an asymptotic Lipschitz constant strictly smaller than 1, provided it satisfies a mild non‐degeneracy assumption. This result extends the work of Chelkak and provides a general framework to prove that the usual connection ...

Asymptotic Analysis of Stokes Flow Through a Filter
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the Stokes flow through a thin porous layer composed of a rigid, thin, periodic, and closely packed array of parallel long rods with a noncircular, anisotropic cross‐section in the shape of a slot. This shape allows for the construction of a thicker permeable filter than what is known as the Brinkman critical size.

Homogeneous Multigrid for Hybrid Discretizations: Application to HHO Methods
ABSTRACT We prove the uniform convergence of the geometric multigrid V‐cycle for hybrid high‐order (HHO) and other discontinuous skeletal methods. Our results generalize previously established results for HDG methods, and our multigrid method uses standard smoothers and local solvers that are bounded, convergent, and consistent.

On the Influence of the Fiber Curvature on the Stiffness of Long Fiber Reinforced Composites
ABSTRACT The degree of curvature of fiber inclusions in fiber‐reinforced composites impacts the elastic properties of the composite, but numerical studies of this effect are limited by the lack of efficient microstructure generators with fiber curvature control. We propose an extension to the fused Sequential Addition and Migration algorithm (Int.
