Nonlocal‐to‐local convergence for a Cahn–Hilliard tumor growth model
Abstract We consider a local Cahn–Hilliard‐type model for tumor growth as well as a nonlocal model where, compared to the local system, the Laplacian in the equation for the chemical potential is replaced by a nonlocal operator. The latter is defined as a convolution integral with suitable kernels parametrized by a small parameter.

Application of De La Vallée Poussin Type Inequalities to Half‐Linear Euler Type Equations
ABSTRACT The paper is devoted to the application of de la Vallée Poussin type inequalities to half‐linear differential Euler type equations. Four studied equations seen as perturbations of the nonoscillatory Euler equation with the oscillation constant are considered, and a new theorem for the cases where the perturbation is in both terms is presented.

Event-Triggered Output Feedback H∞ Control for Markov-Type Networked Control Systems
This paper studies the output feedback H∞ control problem of event-triggered Markov-type networked control systems. Firstly, a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional is constructed, which contains an event-triggered scheme, Markovian jump system, and ...

Operator inclusions and operator-differential inclusions [PDF]
In Chapter 2, we first introduce a generalized inverse differentiability for set-valued mappings and consider some of its properties. Then, we use this differentiability, Ekeland's Variational Principle and some fixed point theorems to consider ...

Discrete quadratic Wirtinger's inequalities
This paper is concerned with inequalities of Wirtinger's type involving sequences and their first differences. We view these inequalities as consequences of minimizing and/or maximizing quadratic forms under boundary constraints. As a consequence, we can approach these inequalities by means of the associated difference equations and obtain results ...

On Asymptotic Behaviors of Acoustic Waves Due to High‐Contrast Material Inclusions
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the asymptotic behaviors of time‐harmonic acoustic waves generated by an incident wave illuminating inhomogeneous medium inclusions with high‐contrast material parameters. We derive sharp asymptotic estimates and obtain several effective acoustic obstacle scattering models when the material parameters take extreme ...

This paper highlights the design of a controller established on estimated states for one-sided Lipschitz (OSL) nonlinear systems subject to output and input delays. The controller has been devised by involving Luenberger-like estimated states.

Convergence analysis of the nonconforming finite element discretization of Stokes and Navier-Stokes equations with nonlinear slip boundary conditions [PDF]
This work is concerned with the nonconforming finite approximations for the Stokes and Navier-Stokes equations driven by slip boundary condition of “friction” type.

Augmented Total Variation Regularization in Radon‐Type Inverse Problems
ABSTRACT We introduce the augmented total variation (TV$TV$) regularization method for Radon‐type inverse problems. Our novel approach incorporates a dual variable into the regularization process, thereby extending and essentially augmenting traditional TV$TV$ regularization techniques.
