Robust filtering for Markovian jumping static neural networks with time-varying delays

open access: yesJournal of Algorithms & Computational Technology, 2020
The problem of robust H ∞ filtering for Markovian jumping static neural networks with time-varying delays is considered in this paper. The effect of the activation function on the time delays is comprehensively considered.

Normalization of twisted Alexander invariants

open access: yes, 2015
Twisted Alexander invariants of knots are well-defined up to multiplication of units. We get rid of this multiplicative ambiguity via a combinatorial method and define normalized twisted Alexander invariants.

Wirtinger inequality and nonlinear differential systems [PDF]

open access: yesArchivum Mathematicum, 2013
The author investigates the first order system \[ u'=A(t)u+B(t)\varphi _{1/\alpha }(v),\quad v'=-C(t)\varphi _{\alpha }(u)-D(t)v, \tag{1} \] where \(A,B,C,\) and \(D\) are continuous real-valued functions on a given interval and \(B(t)>0\). The Picone type identity is established for (1) and various other qualitative results (as Wirtinger-type ...

E7, Wirtinger inequalities, Cayley 4-form, and homotopy [PDF]

open access: yesDuke Mathematical Journal, 2009
We study optimal curvature-free inequalities of the type discovered by C. Loewner and M. Gromov, using a generalisation of the Wirtinger inequality for the comass. Using a model for the classifying space BS^3 built inductively out of BS^1, we prove that the symmetric metrics of certain two-point homogeneous manifolds turn out not to be the systolically

Finite-Time Extended Dissipativity Analysis for Generalized Neural Networks With Discrete and Distributed Time-Varying Delays

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
This paper investigated the finite-time extended dissipativity for generalized neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays via the improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF).

PhaseMax: Convex Phase Retrieval via Basis Pursuit

open access: yes, 2018
We consider the recovery of a (real- or complex-valued) signal from magnitude-only measurements, known as phase retrieval. We formulate phase retrieval as a convex optimization problem, which we call PhaseMax.

Dissipativity Analysis and Control for Takagi‐Sugeno Fuzzy Systems Under Sampled‐data Control via a Sampling‐point‐dependent Lyapunov Functional

open access: yesIET Control Theory &Applications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The main contribution of this paper is the consideration of information throughout the entire sampling period. By proposing a sampling point‐dependent Lyapunov functional, a new dissipative criterion and a sampled‐data control strategy are derived through the application of free‐matrix‐based integral inequalities.

Spectrally Compatible Deceptive Jamming Waveform Design for Synthetic Aperture Radar Countermeasures

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper focuses on the design of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) deceptive jamming waveforms with spectrum‐compatible capability. By using the synthesised jamming waveform, successful deception against the hostile SAR system is demonstrated by generating false targets with high fidelity in both range and azimuth.
