ON MULTIDIMENSIONAL WIRTINGER'S TYPE DISCRETE INEQUALITIES

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 1993
The inequality proved here, which is claimed to be of Wirtinger's type, involves finite differences and \(\ell^ 2\)-norm and requires a good amount of notation for its statement. No applications of the inequality have been suggested.

H∞ Filter for Discrete-Time Takagi–Sugeno Fuzzy Systems with Time-Varying Delays via a Novel Wirtinger-Based Inequality

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2022
This paper is devoted to the analysis and design of H∞ filtering for discrete-time Takagi–Sugeno (TS) fuzzy systems with time-varying delays. By using the delay-partitioning method, more systematic information is introduced, which can reduce the ...

Enhancing microgrid performance: Optimal proactive reactive power dispatch using photovoltaic active power forecasts

open access: yesIET Smart Grid, Volume 7, Issue 6, Page 891-903, December 2024.
A novel method is proposed to manage and control reactive power within microgrids with high integration of photovoltaic panels. A proactive dispatch is carried out for a few minutes in advance, using power forecast and photovoltaic installations as reactive energy providers.

Asymptotic spatial behavior for the heat equation on noncompact regions

open access: yesStudies in Applied Mathematics, Volume 152, Issue 4, Page 1049-1076, May 2024.
Abstract We consider the isotropic initial boundary value problem for the heat equation on open regions with noncompact boundary and construct differential inequalities for a generalized heat flow measure defined over a spherical cross section. Under suitable assumptions, integration of the differential inequality leads to spatial growth and decay rate

Integral Inequalities Related to Wirtinger’s Result

open access: yesGeneral Mathematics, 2021
Abstract In this paper we establish some natural consequences of the Wirtinger integral inequality. Applications related to the trapezoid unweighted and weighted inequalities, of Fejér’s inequality for convex functions and of Grüss’ type inequalities are also provided.

Stability analysis of discrete‐time systems with a time‐varying delay via improved methods

open access: yesIET Control Theory &Applications, Volume 18, Issue 7, Page 951-959, April 2024.
This paper studiesthe stability problem for discrete‐time systems with a time‐varying delay by developing a new combined summation inequality and improving a transformation lemma. Numerical examples show that, compared to several recently reported results, the obtained stability condition not only produces larger maximal allowable upper bounds but also

Existence and Exponential Stability of Anti-Periodic Solutions for Inertial Quaternion-Valued High-Order Hopfield Neural Networks With State-Dependent Delays

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper deals with a class of inertial quaternion-valued high-order Hopfield neural networks with state-dependent delays. Without decomposing the considered neural networks into real-valued systems, based on a continuation theorem of coincidence ...
