In this randomized, double‐blind trial in Mexican adults with erosive oesophagitis, tegoprazan did not significantly improve the primary 4‐week ITT healing endpoint versus pantoprazole (88.9% vs. 79.4%; p = 0.33), but produced faster symptom improvement. Encouraging per‐protocol and severe‐oesophagitis findings warrant confirmation.
