Public Attitudes Towards Expanding the Role of Advanced Practice Nurses in Germany: A Cross‐Sectional Survey Study

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Nursing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aim To assess public support and predictors of favourable or unfavourable views towards expanding Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) roles in Germany. Design A quantitative, cross‐sectional survey using Germany as a national case study. Methods Data came from the Politikpanel Deutschland, an online survey conducted 15–28 July 2024. After exclusions,

Kesan bahan tambah RH-WMA ke atas sifat-sifat kejuruteraan bitumen PG-76 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Pavement failure phenomena is normally caused by low quality of mixture materials, especially bitumen. The modification of bitumen is one of the alternatives to improve the performance of the material.

Properties and applications of warm mix asphalt in the road construction industry: a comprehensive review and insights toward facilitating large-scale adoption

open access: yesReviews on Advanced Materials Science
Warm mix asphalt (WMA) is a sustainable innovation in road construction that enables bituminous mixtures to be produced and compacted at lower temperatures than traditional hot mix asphalt (HMA).

Towards Optimized Awake Bruxism Metrics: Empirical Definition of Minimal Ecological Momentary Assessment Requirements

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, EarlyView.
A pooled analysis of 327 participants and more than 32 000 EMA reports identified the minimum monitoring burden required for reliable awake bruxism assessment. Four of five core behaviours reached stable estimates after 3 monitoring days, while grinding stabilized after 2 days.

Oral Epithelial Dysplasia Information Needs Questionnaire (ODIN‐Q): Responsiveness and Insights Into Patient Education

open access: yesJournal of Oral Pathology &Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background The Oral Epithelial Dysplasia Informational Needs Questionnaire (ODIN‐Q) was developed to assess the informational needs of patients with oral epithelial dysplasia (OED), a precancerous disorder associated with an increased risk of malignant transformation.

Risk of Serious Adverse Events and Death With Low‐Dose Methotrexate Versus Hydroxychloroquine in Adults Receiving Dialysis

open access: yesSeminars in Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Several case reports have linked low‐dose methotrexate to serious adverse events, including death, in dialysis patients. We compared the risk of serious adverse events in dialysis patients initiating low‐dose methotrexate versus hydroxychloroquine.

EFFECTS OF A CHEMICAL WMA ADDITIVE ON AGING CHARACTERISTICS OF BITUMINOUS MIXTURES [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Utilization of warm mix asphalt (WMA) in pavement construction is a relatively new technology, therefore there is nearly no chance to practically evaluate the long-term characteristics of the existing WMA pavements. Due to lower application temperatures,

THE EFFECT OF SBR LATEX AND WARM MIX AGENT ON THE PERFORMANCE OF DRY AND WET ASPHALT MIXTURES

open access: yesMağallaẗ Al-kūfaẗ Al-handasiyyaẗ
Moisture damage has been identified as one of the most common causes of distress in asphalt mixes. The attachment between bitumen aggregate components deteriorates when water interacts at the interface, causing the binder to be stripped from the exterior

Performance Evaluation of Warm- and Hot-Mix Asphalt Mixtures Based on Laboratory and Accelerated Pavement Tests

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, 2012
A number of warm-mix asphalt (WMA) technologies are used to reduce the temperature at which the asphalt mixtures are produced and compacted, apparently without compromising the performance of the pavement. The main objective of this study is to determine
