Human Steering Control Under Unpredictable Disturbances
Humans steered a vehicle along roads of varying width while experiencing random, time‐varying physical perturbations. Frequency analysis showed that road width did not affect gain but did modulate the phase of control, suggesting that any control policy adjustments occurred primarily in the timing between perturbation and response.

Sex‐differential associations of MC3R p.F45S with human metabolic profile
Abstract Obesity and related metabolic disorders represent major global health challenges, highlighting the importance of understanding the central regulation of energy homeostasis. The melanocortin system is a conserved circuitry governing food intake and other neuroendocrine processes.

Tunable Applicator for Microneedle‐Based Medical Devices
This paper presents a simple, low‐cost tunable applicator (TAPP) for microneedle array patches that uses a material‐agnostic controlled‐fracture mechanism to ensure reliable skin penetration and uniform array engagement. The scalable, modular design is compatible with injection molding and 3D printing, can be integrated directly into patches, and is ...

ABSTRACT The long‐term cumulative impact of metabolic syndrome (MS) on cognitive decline remains uncertain. This study investigated how changes in MS status over 10 years relate to cognition and whether sex modifies this relationship. A total of 766 participants (mean baseline age: 54 years) from the Kaohsiung Atherosclerosis Longitudinal Study were ...

Explainable AI Insights Into EEG Classification and Its Alignment to Neural Correlates
We systematically generate, filter, and cluster explanations of deep learning models of EEG data to identify universal patterns of relevance, which we validate via connections to observations from neuroscience. ABSTRACT While deep learning has drastically improved the performance of electroencephalography (EEG) analysis, it remains unclear what these ...

Abstract INTRODUCTION Circadian rest/activity rhythms (RARs) change across adulthood, and alterations in RARs have been associated with cognitive decline, Alzheimer's disease (AD), and dementia. Little is known, however, about associations of RARs with subsequent changes in brain structure.
