Designing Asymmetric Memristive Behavior in Proton Mixed Conductors for Neuromorphic Applications
Protonic devices that couple ionic and electronic transport are demonstrated as bioinspired neuromorphic elements. The devices exhibit rubber‐like asymmetric memristive behavior with slow voltage‐driven conductance increase and rapid relaxation, enabling simplified read–write operation.

Decay resistance of propionylated Iranian beech wood against white rot fungus (Trametes versicolor) [PDF]
Decay resistance of propionic anhydride modified Iranian beech wood against the white rot fungus (Trametes versicolor) was investigated. Iranian beech (Fagus orientalis), which is a nondurable wood was modified by propionic anhydride at different ...

Understanding of the effect of natural saltwater treatment on durability, fibers densification and chemical modification of palm wood [PDF]
Nowadays, the Tunisian primary wood-processing industry consumes more than 872,000 m3 of wood raw materials, of which only 119,000 m3 are supplied by local forest resources.

Charcoal evidence traces diverse fungal metabolic strategies to the Late Paleozoic
Summary: Wood decomposition through fungal activity is essential to the natural carbon cycle. There are three primary patterns of wood decay: white rot, brown rot, and soft rot. However, geological records of wood decay mainly originate from fossil woods,

Laboratory decay resistance of Palmyra palm wood [PDF]
The decay resistance of palmyra palm wood[1] (Borassus flabellifer), also referred to as sugar palm, was assessed in laboratory soil block tests against Oligoporus placenta, Gloeophyllum trabeum, Irpex lacteus, and Trametes versicolor as well as in a non-sterile soil burial test designed to encourage soft rot attack.
