Dunántúli tölgyek gesztesedési folyamatai [PDF]
The two main parts of a log, sapwood and heartwood, have different properties. With regard to utilization in the wood industry, the latter is of great importance because of its higher durability and better mechanical properties. In case of wood species

Designing Asymmetric Memristive Behavior in Proton Mixed Conductors for Neuromorphic Applications
Protonic devices that couple ionic and electronic transport are demonstrated as bioinspired neuromorphic elements. The devices exhibit rubber‐like asymmetric memristive behavior with slow voltage‐driven conductance increase and rapid relaxation, enabling simplified read–write operation.

Wood Crib with PVC Cables: Compartment Fire Toxicity [PDF]
Electrical cable fires may occur as part of a fire load and this was simulated using a pine wood crib fire in a compartment with PVC cables laid as a single layer on top of the crib. The aim was to trace the HCL yield under a mixed fuel compartment fire.

Nanolayer‐Encapsulated Stretchable Liquid‐Metal Sheets for Thermal Management
A stretchable liquid metal sheet with both high thermal conductivity and mechanical flexibility is developed. Its trilayer structure, comprising copper‐particle‐dispersed gallium liquid metal encapsulated by styrene‐butadiene‐styrene nanosheets, shows 40.4 W m−1 K−1 conductivity, elongation exceeding 200%, and retention of 96% of its initial ...
