This work presents a biocompatible and biodegradable amino acid‐based thermoplastic polyurethane synthesized at different reaction times. The TPUs were characterized to build an understanding of the material and processed into aligned porous foams with biomimetic mechanical properties to demonstrate potential as pelvic floor tissue scaffolds.
