Effects of off‐highway vehicle activity on Arizona wildlife: a systematic literature review
The published literature indicates that off‐highway vehicles (OHVs) predominantly negatively affect native Arizona amphibians, mammals, and reptiles, while effects of OHVs on native Arizona birds are mostly unknown or neutral. Abstract Off‐highway vehicle (OHV) recreation has dramatically increased in Arizona, USA, prompting concerns about potential ...

Ringtail (Bassariscus astutus) survival in southwestern Oregon
We captured and monitored radio‐collared ringtails over 2 years to estimate monthly and annual survival rates. We found that annual survival rates were much higher within forested landscapes in Oregon than for populations in the southwestern United States.

Carbon Flux of Down Woody Materials in Forests of the North Central United States
Across large scales, the carbon (C) flux of down woody material (DWM) detrital pools has largely been simulated based on forest stand attributes (e.g., stand age and forest type).

Remote Sensing Boreal Coarse Woody Debris
Coarse woody debris (CWD) are vital components of forested environments, affecting the physical structure and biochemistry of forests, supplying habitats, nutrients and food for many organisms. Additionally, CWD is an especially important element in boreal forest management in Alberta, Canada.

ABSTRACT Sepsis‐induced organ failure involves dysregulated neutrophil responses, including neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) formation, via NETosis. Exosomes generated from adipose‐derived stem cells (ADSCs) have shown potential in sepsis treatment. This study characterized organ‐specific NETosis in the kidney, liver, and lungs using a murine cecal ...
