Building Ohmic Contact Interfaces toward Ultrastable Zn Metal Anodes
Zn metal holds grand promise as the anodes of aqueous batteries for grid‐scale energy storage. However, the rampant zinc dendrite growth and severe surface side reactions significantly impede the commercial implementation.

Epitaxial Graphene and Graphene–Based Devices Studied by Electrical Scanning Probe Microscopy
We present local electrical characterization of epitaxial graphene grown on both Si- and C-faces of 4H-SiC using Electrostatic Force Microscopy and Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy in ambient conditions and at elevated temperatures. These techniques provide

The effect of synthesis time on morphology and electronic structure of polyaniline [PDF]
The paper investigates the morphology and electronic structure change of polyaniline as a function of the synthesis time. It is shown that the band gap of a polymer decreases with increasing duration of the synthesis time due to a change in the number

Work Function of Single-wall Silicon Carbide Nanotube
Using first-principles calculations, we study the work function of single wall silicon carbide nanotube (SiCNT). The work function is found to be highly dependent on the tube chirality and diameter. It increases with decreasing the tube diameter.

Error estimates for density-functional theory predictions of surface energy and work function [PDF]
Density-functional theory (DFT) predictions of materials properties are becoming ever more widespread. With increased use comes the demand for estimates of the accuracy of DFT results.

Studying the Effect of Transport Layers on ZrS2/MEH-PPV Solar Cells: Using SCAPS -1D Software
This study investigates the effect of charge transport layers on the efficiency of Poly[2-methoxy-5-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (MEH_PPV) and Zirconium Disulfide (ZrS₂) solar cells using Scaps-1D software. It was found that by increasing the

Defects in oxide surfaces studied by atomic force and scanning tunneling microscopy
Surfaces of thin oxide films were investigated by means of a dual mode NC-AFM/STM. Apart from imaging the surface termination by NC-AFM with atomic resolution, point defects in magnesium oxide on Ag(001) and line defects in aluminum oxide on NiAl(110 ...

ABSTRACT Background While Wilms tumor (WT) typically has a favorable prognosis, relapsed cases—especially those with high‐risk histology—remain therapeutically challenging after intensive frontline therapy. The combination of vincristine and irinotecan has demonstrated activity in pediatric solid tumors, and pazopanib, a multi‐targeted tyrosine kinase ...
