ABSTRACT Background/Objectives The use of mouthguards protects teeth and the supporting tissues against impacts. Digital impressions and 3D‐printed models can reduce manufacturing steps and minimize discomfort. This study evaluated the fit, comfort, and usability of custom‐made mouthguards, obtained by conventional and digital workflow, in amateur ...

Abstract Three‐dimensional (3D) printing is widely used in dental restorations; however, optimization of photoinitiator concentration and post‐curing protocols remains critical to achieve a balance between mechanical and esthetic performance. This study evaluated the combined effect of diphenyl(2,4,6‐trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide (TPO) concentration

Lack of Compliance in Gillnet Fisheries Regulations Increases Risk to a Vulnerable Species
ABSTRACT This article presents an analysis of regulatory compliance in a Brazilian gillnet fishery, based on Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) tracking data. Satellite transmissions records, interpreted as proxies for gillnet haulings events, were analyzed and classified using a neural network to assess the level of compliance of the gillnet fleet.

ABSTRACT Columnaris is an important bacterial disease of freshwater fish and is increasingly recognised as being caused by a species complex historically referred to as Flavobacterium columnare. A two‐step molecular workflow was applied to ornamental fish with clinical signs of columnaris disease from a multispecies commercial distributor operating a ...

ABSTRACT Background/Objectives The high prevalence of hearing impairment in older adults and the scarcity of diagnostic resources in primary health care (PHC) highlight the need for solutions based on artificial intelligence. This study aimed to develop and evaluate a decision tree model to prioritize hearing examinations in this population. Methods An
