Full-time and space early-warning method for floor water inrush in working face based on microseismic monitoring

open access: yesMeitan kexue jishu, 2023
To explore the difference of microseismic characteristics in different periods and spaces of the working face and then realize the early warning of water damage, a full-time and space early-warning method for floor water inrush based on microseismic ...

Substantiating Ways of Load Application When Modeling Interaction of a Multiincisal Mining Machine Actuator With Rocks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Two methods of modeling of interaction between a mining machine working body and rocks are considered; a multi-cutter working body sum impact on rock stress-strain state in a cutter action zone is described; practicability of distributed forces ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Experimental investigation on stress distribution and migration of the overburden during the mining process in deep coal seam mining

open access: yesGeoenvironmental Disasters, 2023
Coal mining has a significant impact on the movement of the overburden, leading to potential safety hazards in the working face. In this paper, a similarity simulation experiment was conducted to investigate the migration of overburden during the mining ...

Electrochemical behavior of Sn-Zn alloys with different grain structures in chloride-containing solutions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In the present research the electrochemical behavior of the Sn-Zn alloys (Sn-1 wt.%Zn, Sn-4 wt.%Zn and 8.9 wt.%Zn) in 3% NaCl solution is analyzed using potentiodynamic cyclic polarization measurements and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Distribution and evolution characteristics of advanced abutment pressure in hard-roof working faces

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua
With increasing mining depth and increasingly complex geological conditions, existing studies on the distribution of advanced abutment pressure in working faces are difficult to be fully applicable to hard-roof conditions.
