The Microstructure and High‐temperature Cycle Oxidation Mechanism of the Nickel‐Based Superalloy Surface Treated by Laser Shock Processing and Ion Implantation at 1100 °C

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Laser shock processingcombination with Hf ion implantation results in dual modification on the surface of GH202 nickel‐based superalloy, which induces a large number of crystal defects, providing channels for the diffusion of metal cations. Hf ion implantation forms an amorphous HfO2 layer.

Study on Material Removal Model by Reciprocating Magnetorheological Polishing

open access: yesMicromachines, 2021
In this study, a new reciprocating magnetorheological polishing (RMRP) method for a flat workpiece was proposed. Based on the RMRP principle and Preston equation, the material removal rate (MRR) model of the RMRP as well as its normal polishing pressure ...

Topology Optimization for a Rigid‐Compliant Hybrid Constant Force Gripper

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Constant‐force grippers deliver near‐constant output without sensors, cutting cost and complexity. This study proposes a topology‐optimization framework jointly designing rigid links and material distribution, modeled via link‐state and element‐density variables with constant force as the objective.
