Rotating Casimir wormholes

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal C
Abstract A Casimir wormhole is a traversable wormhole powered by a Casimir energy source within a static reference frame. A natural extension of this system is the inclusion of rotation. We will explore two basic configurations: one with radially varying Casimir plates and another with parametrically fixed plates.

Feasibility analysis on the pilot test of acid fracturing for carbonate reservoirs in Halfaya Oilfield, Iraq

open access: yesEnergy Science & Engineering, 2019
The oil reservoir of Mishrif Formation is of strong heterogeneity vertically and laterally, and its single‐well production rate after conventional acidizing is low and declines fast.

Fast and Efficient Distance based External Wormhole Detection and Prevention System (FEDEWDPS)

open access: yesMajlesi Journal of Electrical Engineering
In terms of applications and research, VANET (Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks) communication is becoming more popular. Existing VANET communication protocols try to improve network performance but fail to consider security issues.

MODIFIED CHAPLYGIN TRAVERSABLE WORMHOLES

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics D, 2009
Modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) is a strong candidate for the unified model of dark matter and dark energy. The equation of state of this modified model is valid from the radiation era to the ΛCDM model. In the early epoch (when ρ was large), dark matter had the dominant role, while at later stages (when ρ is small), the MCG model behaves as dark energy.

Ricci inverse gravity wormholes

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
The current study deals with the new wormhole solutions in the background of fourth order new modified Ricci inverse gravity. Two new classes of the wormhole solutions are analyzed by showing the valid region for the main part of wormhole geometry under ...

WORMHOLES AND CHILD UNIVERSES [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics D, 2010
Evidence to the case that classical gravitation provides the clue to make sense out of quantum gravity is presented. The key observation is the existence in classical gravitation of child universe solutions or "almost" solutions, "almost" because of some singularity problems.

Trust based secure routing algorithm for wireless sensor networks

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2008
In order to deal with the safety hidden trouble caused by that the nodes in wireless sensor networks were lack of fixed infrastructure and it was hard to check the malicious behavior of the nodes, so the conception of nodes’ trust was proposed combined ...

Existence of vacuum wormholes in Einsteinian cubic gravity

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Wormhole solutions in gravitational theories typically require exotic matter. Here we present a wormhole solution to the field equations of Einsteinian Cubic Gravity — a phenomenological competitor to general relativity that includes terms cubic in the ...

Wormholes without averaging

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
After averaging over fermion couplings, SYK has a collective field description that sometimes has “wormhole” solutions. We study the fate of these wormholes when the couplings are fixed. Working mainly in a simple model, we find that the wormhole saddles
