A Secure Localization Approach against Wormhole Attacks Using Distance Consistency
Wormhole attacks can negatively affect the localization in wireless sensor networks. A typical wormhole attack can be launched by two colluding attackers, one of which sniffs packets at one point in the network and tunnels them through a wired or ...

Abstract In this paper, we have for the first time considered the consequences of finite temperature contributions to a traversable wormhole. This was done by using finite temperature generalization of the Casimir effect as a source of a hot traversable wormhole.

To predict the outcome of (almost) any experiment we have to assume that our spacetime is globally hyperbolic. The wormholes, if they exist, cast doubt on the validity of this assumption. At the same time, no evidence has been found so far (either observational, or theoretical) that the possibility of their existence can be safely neglected.

Generalized Finslerian Wormhole Models in
This article explores wormhole solutions within the framework of Finsler geometry and the modified gravity theory. Modifications in gravitational theories, such as f(R,T) gravity, propose alternatives that potentially avoid the exotic requirements.

Experimental research on growth mechanism of acid wormhole in carbonate matrix
Matrix acidification is one of the important measures for the stimulation of carbonate reservoirs. The studies on its formation regularity and influencing factors of acid wormhole are the basic theories of carbonate matrix acidification.

Charged wormhole solutions in 4D Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity
In the present work, we construct models of static wormholes in 4-dimensional Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet (4D EGB) gravity with an (an)isotropic energy momentum tensor (EMT) and a Maxwell field as supporting matters for the wormhole geometry assuming a ...

Impact of charge on traversable wormhole solutions and modified f(R, ϕ) gravity
In this paper, we investigate the traversable wormhole solutions in the presence of charge within the framework of f(R, ϕ) gravity, where R represents the Ricci scalar and ϕ denotes the scalar potential, respectively.

Are slowly rotating Ellis-Bronnikov wormholes stable?
We investigate the radial perturbations of Ellis-Bronnikov wormholes (l=0) in a slowly rotating background expanded up to second order in rotation. We find indications that simple wormhole solutions such as Ellis-Bronnikov in General Relativity can be ...
