CircZNF148 stabilizes HK1 through deubiquitinase recruitment, thereby enhancing glycolysis and lactate production. Elevated lactate promotes PD‑L1 lactylation and membrane accumulation while suppressing CD8+ T‐cell cytotoxicity, collectively facilitating immune evasion and malignant progression in TNBC.

Background The long noncoding RNA Xist is critical for initiation and establishment of X-chromosome inactivation during embryogenesis in mammals, but it is unclear whether its continued expression is required for maintaining X-inactivation in vivo ...

Disturbed flow promotes the formation of TRIM21‐rich biomolecular droplets, which concentrate TRIM21 and PTPN14 and facilitate their SPRY‐FERM interaction (illustrated by the TRIM21 D355‐PTPN14 R132 salt bridge). This condensate‐driven proximity enables TRIM21 to catalyze K48‐linked polyubiquitination of PTPN14 at lysine 956, leading to proteasome ...

Global Characterization of X Chromosome Inactivation in Human Pluripotent Stem Cells
Summary: Dosage compensation of sex-chromosome gene expression between male and female mammals is achieved via X chromosome inactivation (XCI) by employing epigenetic modifications to randomly silence one X chromosome during early embryogenesis.

RSF1‐Dependent PAR Turnover Promotes 53BP1 Liquid Condensate Formation at DNA Damage Sites
At sites of DNA damage, RSF1 recruits PARG to accelerate PAR turnover, triggering a switch from PAR‐driven condensates to 53BP1 condensates. This condensate transition enables p53‐dependent gene transcription and coordinates the DNA damage response.

X chromosome-encoded microRNAs in immune regulation: sex differences and clinical implications
Sex-based differences in immune function influence susceptibility to infections and predisposition to autoimmunity, with women showing both stronger immune responses and a higher burden of autoimmune and chronic inflammatory diseases.

Chromosome 16q loss drives genomic instability through disruption of the CYLD–TIRR–53BP1 axis. CYLD preserves homologous recombination by stabilizing TIRR and limiting 53BP1 accumulation at DNA double‐strand breaks. CYLD deficiency redirects repair toward error‐prone non‐homologous end joining, promotes mutational burden and homologous recombination ...

Epigenetic X chromosome inactivation [PDF]
Inaktivacija X kromosoma je složeni epigenetički proces koji dovodi do utišavanja jednog od dva X kromosoma u somatskim stanicama ženki sisavaca s ciljem kompenzacije doze X vezanih gena među spolovima.

Here we report one new case each of an X-autosome translocation (maternally derived), and an X-Y-chromosome translocation. Besides characterizing the involved breakpoints and/or imbalances in detail by molecular cyto-genetics, also skewed X-chromosome ...
