Intra-nosological diagnosis of endometrial cancer

open access: yesОпухоли женской репродуктивной системы, 2014
The study is based on the analysis of comprehensive ultrasound examinations of 158 patients with a verified diagnosis of endometrial cancer (EC). It was conducted, by taking into account the concept of 3 types of microinvasive EC growth. Echosemiotics in

X-ray irradiation of the stellar wind in HMXBs with B supergiants: Implications for ULXs [PDF]

open access: yesA&A 659, A117 (2022), 2022
Wind-fed high-mass X-ray binaries are powered by accretion of the radiatively driven wind on the compact star. Accretion-generated X-rays alter the ionization state of the wind. Because higher ionization states drive the wind less effectively, X-ray ionization may brake acceleration of the wind.

X-RAYS AND X-RAY DIAGNOSIS. [PDF]

open access: yesJAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1897
A great discovery, great in the sense of discovering a fundamental principle or a fact profoundly modifying existing theories or hypotheses, is not infrequently found to be of most value, from the purely utilitarian standpoint, in some branch of science, or some art, other than that in which it was primarily made.

The composite X-ray spectrum of 3CRR Quasars [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
The reason for the difference in the composite X-ray spectrum between radio-loud quasars (RLQs) and radio-quiet quasars (RQQs) is still unclear. To study this difference, we built a new composite X-ray spectrum of RLQs by using Chandra X-ray data and Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) optical data for the sample of 3CRR quasars.

Oxygen K-edge X-ray Absorption Spectra

open access: yesChemical Reviews, 2020
We review oxygen K-edge X-ray absorption spectra of both molecules and solids. We start with an overview of the main experimental aspects of oxygen K-edge X-ray absorption measurements including X-ray sources, monochromators, and detection schemes.
