Multifunctional Hydroxyapatite Coated with Gallium Liquid Metal‐Based Silver Nanoparticles for Infection Prevention and Bone Regeneration

A multifunctional hydroxyapatite (HAp) coating integrated with silver‐gallium liquid metal nanoparticles (HAp‐Ag‐GaNPs) exhibits dual antibacterial and osteogenic properties. It effectively inhibits Gram‐positive and Gram‐negative bacteria, including resistant strains, while enhancing bone regeneration.

Multivariate data analysis for x-ray fluorescence spectrometry [PDF]

A multivariate data analysis procedure that uses singular value decomposition and the Ho-Kashyap algorithm is proposed to obtain calibration constants for x-ray fluorescence spectrometry. These calibration constants can be used to obtain results from experimental data by means of a simple dot product calculation.

Rigid Fluorescent Indacenetetraone‐Based Semiconducting Polymers via Knoevenagel Condensation

New donor–acceptor polymers prepared by Knoevenagel condensation of indacenedithiophene‐ and indacenedifuran‐based aldehydes reveal an exceptionally rigid backbone, which is manifested in the remarkably narrow absorption and emission bands in red to near‐infrared region.
