The interaction between a free-base, anionic water-soluble porphyrin, TSPP, and the drug carrier protein, bovine serum albumin (BSA) has been studied by time-resolved fluorescence anisotropy (TRFA) and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) at two ...

Streaking and splashing: design of a grazing incidence x-ray streak camera and time-resolved measurements of the structure of water [PDF]
The performance of cesium iodide photocathodes has been characterized for use with grazing incidence soft x-rays. The total electron yield and pulsed quantum efficiency has been measured in a reflection geometry as a function of photon energy (100 eV to ...

X-ray photon correlation spectroscopy using the Mythen 1D detector
X-ray Photon Correlation Spectroscopy (XPCS) is an experimental technique to measure the dynamics of materials on nano- and microscales. Often, the maximum frame rate of the detector limits which dynamical processes can be investigated.

DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.

Development of a hard X-ray delay line for X-ray photon correlation spectroscopy and jitter-free pump-probe experiments at X-ray free-electron laser sources [PDF]
A hard X-ray delay line capable of splitting and delaying single X-ray pulses has been developed with the aim of performing X-ray photon correlation spectroscopy (XPCS) and X-ray pump-probe experiments at hard X-ray free-electron laser sources.

Studies of atomic scale diffusion by X-ray photon correlation spectroscopy
Although Quasielastic Neutron Scattering (QNS) has proven successful in investigating diffusive dy-namics at the atomic level in solid state physics, the limits for the diffusion coefficient are relativelylow. Therefore QNS is in general limited to measurements in the vicinity of the melting transition. Also, because of the specific scattering cross ...

Oxygen‐tunnel (OT) indium tin oxide (ITO) vertical channel transistors (VCTs) enable reliable, high‐density gain‐cell memory for monolithic 3D integration. A sandwiched SiN/SiO2/SiN OT stack selectively regulates oxygen transport, suppressing parasitic electrode oxidation while stabilizing channel oxygen vacancies, thereby suppressing carrier injection

The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.
