Gonzalez Martinez and collaborators develop a strategy to formulate high performance GelMA‐based bioinks with low solids contents. The resulting bioinks enable 3D bioprinting at 37 °C of high‐fidelity structures with tunable mechanical properties that support high cell viability and function.

What if human skin could remain fully alive and functional outside the body for weeks? A New Alternative Method (NAM) based on a vascularized full‐thickness skin microphysiological system achieves precisely this, preserving native vasculature, resident immunity, and metabolic activity for up to three weeks, while faithfully recapitulating radiation ...

On the use of clessidra prism arrays in long-focal-length X-ray focusing
Clessidra (hour-glass) X-ray lenses have an overall shape of an old hour glass, in which two opposing larger triangular prisms are formed of smaller identical prisms or prism-like objects. In these lenses, absorbing and otherwise optically inactive material was removed with a material-removal strategy similar to that used by Fresnel in the lighthouse ...

A Large-Scale Objective-Prism and X-Ray Survey in Taurus-Auriga
We present the results of a moderately deep, wide-field optical/X-ray survey extending over ~60° in the Taurus-Auriga molecular cloud complex. Our observations are sensitive enough to allow us to detect lower mass and older pre–main-sequence stars that could have been missed in previous surveys.

Portable Molecularly Imprinted Polymer Sensor for Rapid Swab‐Based Detection of Norovirus
This work reports a rapid, portable smartphone‐based sensor capable of detecting four norovirus genotypes from swab samples within 15 min. Sensor selectivity was validated through evaluation against four common live viruses. The swab‐based sampling process enabled simple sample preparation combined with the compact detection system, supporting use of ...

Under NIR irradiation, PTCPP generates ROS to eliminate MRSA biofilms and promote M1 macrophage polarization for phagocytosis. After bacterial clearance, the material is phagocytosed by macrophages, shifting their polarization to M2 phenotype via metabolic reprogramming, which synergistically enhances anti‐infection therapy and wound healing.

Stability of Medicinal Nanoemulsions to Spaceflight: Insights From the StarMed Experiment
Chitosan‐coated melatonin nanoemulsions (MN) recovered from a sounding rocket mission preserve droplet size and controlled‐release behavior, whereas uncoated nanoemulsions show ageing‐driven droplet growth and increased accessible drug fraction. Simple polymer coatings thus enhance the flight resilience of liquid space medicines under cumulative launch
