A plasma x-ray source for x-ray lithography
Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology B: Microelectronics Processing and Phenomena, 1986Employing a gas-‘‘puff’’ z-pinch plasma, a high brightness and compact plasma x-ray source has been constructed by using a high-repetition-rate discharge and a new x-ray extraction method. The high-repetition-rate discharge (3 Hz) is attained by using a fast-acting gas valve, capable of operating stably under gas plenum pressures below 300 Torr.

1987The authors have made a new deep 6 cm survey with the VLA in order to extend the radio source count to a lower flux density and to decrease the limits on the small scale fluctuations in the microwave background. The survey region covers ~10-5ster and is nearly coincident with the survey previously reported by Fomalont et al. (1984).
