Genomic analysis of bacteriophage Xoo-sp13 infecting Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Virology, 2021
Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae is a bacterial pathogen that gives rise to diseases in rice all over the world. A bacteriophage infecting this bacterium was isolated from rice fields in China.

Genomic comparison between Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae and Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzicola, using suppression-subtractive hybridization [PDF]

open access: bronzeFEMS microbiology letters, 2010
Xanthomonas oryzae pathovar oryzae (Xoo) and X. oryzae pv. oryzicola (Xoc) cause bacterial diseases in rice: leaf blight and leaf streak, respectively. Although both the Asian and the African strains of Xoo induce similar symptoms, they are genetically different, with the African Xoo strains being more closely related to the Asian Xoc.

Characteristic Dissection of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae Responsive MicroRNAs in Rice [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Molecular Sciences, 2020
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are crucial player in plant-pathogen interaction. While the evidence has demonstrated that rice miRNAs mediate immune response to pathogens invasion, the roles of miRNAs on Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo) attack remain be in place.

Electron Transport Systems of Xanthomonas oryzae and Xanthomonas phaseoli

open access: diamondJournal of the agricultural chemical society of Japan, 1963

TALEs as double-edged swords in plant–pathogen interactions: Progress, challenges, and perspectives

open access: yesPlant Communications, 2022
Xanthomonas species colonize many host plants and cause huge losses worldwide. Transcription activator-like effectors (TALEs) are secreted by Xanthomonas and translocated into host cells to manipulate the expression of target genes, especially by ...
