A General Platform for the Light‐Enabled Generation of α‐Fluoro Radicals Leveraging Simple Additives
A catalyst‐free, visible‐light protocol enables mild generation of α‐fluoro radicals from α‐halo fluorinated precursors using sodium iodide and 2,6‐lutidine. In situ halide exchange and C–I homolysis afford broad access to fluorinated esters, sulphones, and nitriles via coupling with diverse partners.

Repurposing Aryl Boronic Acids as Halogen‐Atom Transfer Agents
In this work, we use aryl boronic acids as halogen‐atom transfer (XAT) agents for the activation of alkyl iodides. We apply this concept as part of a Giese alkylation, producing sp3‐rich scaffolds under simple photoredox conditions. We also showcase the applicability of this XAT approach as part of a dual catalysis process for desaturation.

Photochemical Allylation of Aldehydes or Alkanes with Vinyl Cyclopropanes
An acylation or alkylation of vinyl cyclopropanes, employing tetra‐n‐butylammonium decatungstate as the photocatalyst, leading allyl ketones or alkenes is presented. A diverse range of substrates were compatible with this protocol, while flow conditions were also developed and mechanistic studies were also performed.
